Touch Me (Samantha Fox album)
''Touch Me'' is the debut album by British model-turned-singer Samantha Fox, released in July 1986. The album was certified gold in the UK and featured four hit singles, "Touch Me (I Want Your Body)", "Do Ya Do Ya (Wanna Please Me)", "Hold On Tight", and "I'm All You Need". "Touch Me (I Want Your Body)" also charted at number 4 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 singles chart, and number 3 in the UK.
In Canada, with heavy promotion on local radio station CJCB in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Fox's first single "Touch Me (I Want Your Body)" and its parent album "Touch Me" gradually broke into the local and mainstream Canadian music market, and eventually North America.
On July 25, 2012, Cherry Red Records (UK) released a special two-disc deluxe reissue of Samantha’s first album, ''Touch Me''. Compiled with personal input from Fox, the set includes an extensive booklet, reversible cover art, newly added photos, a fully illustrated discography and recording data, full lyrics and new sleeve notes written especially for the release.
